On Keeth Ink, I like to write about Jane Austen, books, crafts, food, life, and more books. Not necessarily in that order.

Although I’m a scholar, and I occasionally post scholarly things, this isn’t a scholarly blog. And although the tagline of Keeth Ink is “smart writing,” you can take that with a grain of salt. Some days it should say “writing by someone who used to be smart but has been rendered insensible by the combination of too much literary theory and the craziness that is motherhood.”

While I’m all for crafting one’s online persona, I’m also a big believer in transparency. If you meet me in real life, whether it’s at church, play group, or the MLA conference, I hope I sound just like the gal who writes this blog.
